Bahamas Ferries (BF) wanted to consolidate their passenger and freight operations into a single business and expand the operations by adding 2 additional ferries.  
 
A fundamental requirement of the new streamlined integrated business was to select and implement state of the art reservation and operational management technology. After a thorough evaluation of available products, BF selected WebRes the innovative web based solution from Entee Global Services Ltd.  
 
WebRes will provide an online booking service for BF direct telephone and Internet customers as well as tour operators and travel partners throughout the world. In addition the implementation will allow passengers to check-in electronically using wireless bar code scanners.  
 
Bahamas Ferries also wanted to offer customers additional services including accommodation and insurance. WebRes provides a dynamic accommodation packaging feature which allows hotels to be booked in real-time without the need for BF to maintain local inventory.
