Stena Line is the world's leading ferry company, operating between the UK and Ireland, the UK and Holland, and within Scandinavia. The project was to provide a dedicated web service for indirect customers (travel agents) of Stena Line and utilise the existing and proven WebRes/AFerry.to Agent web interface. Stena Line's travel agent web interface went live in January 2002, having taken 6 weeks to implement.
The travel agent web interface has been very successful with over 10,000 travel agents currently set up to use it, with this number increasing every month. Entee provide Stena Line with a fully resilient 24/7 service for both hosting and application support. In addition, Entee also provide first line Internet call centre support on a 7 day basis as it is required.
