When start up Whale Watching operator Great Orca Adventures began to plan the operation, web based technology was one of the first issues to be considered.
Even though the operation was starting with a single fast craft, CEO Mark Goodman realised the potential opportunity; if the Internet could be used for both distribution and operational management.
After a lengthy search for a suitable solution, WebRes from Entee was selected and the entire implementation took 4 weeks from receipt of order just in time for the start of the 2004 season.
From day one, the WebRes solution allowed agents, travel partners and direct customers to securely book and pay for reservations using the Great Orca Internet web site.
