Thames Clippers choose WebRes ferry software

01 November 2007

Entee Global Services is very pleased to confirm that Thames Clippers have chosen the world's leading ferry reservation system, WebRes, for their expanding operations. Entee were able to react to their immediate need to sell tickets such as the River Roamer and Single tickets online.

Thames Clippers was co-founded by Sean Collins and Alan Woods in 1999. Thames Clippers has grown from a one boat operation to a fleet of twelve vessels, carrying over 7000 passengers per day. In 2006 AEG Europe bought a majority stake in Thames Clippers and helped to expand the service.

In 2007 the company purchased spacious new catamarans to be used on the Thames Clippers commuter service in order to carry a large number of passengers in a comfortable environment. As Thames Clippers continues to grow, Sean's insight has brought a commuter river service operation on the Thames from a dream to fruition.

The Thames Clippers WebRes ferry software implementation took only 4 weeks and had instant impact with over 30 bookings per day, very soon after going live. For more information please visit Thames Clippers .com
