Airbus select WebRes for worldwide vessel planning

Airbus, via their shipping division Fret Cetam, have chosen Entee's WebRes product as their worldwide transportation and shipment planning solution. Entee is very proud to announce this 5-year agreement, with further contract extension options after this point. 
 
The WebRes system is built in .NET and replaces a legacy locally based planning application. The solution offers high availability coupled with flexible web access through a browser interface. The system co-ordinates the loading, unloading and transportation of major aircraft components via specialist sea, barge and road transportation units. 
 
Airbus components for the A380 family of aircraft are manufactured in various European locations before undergoing final assembly in Toulouse France. For example the wings are produced in Broughton in the UK, fuselage sections in Cadiz in Spain and Hambourg Germany. The new WebRes system enables Fret Cetam to measure their performance against Airbus' KPIs via a reporting interface.
